"If the Lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders toil" (Psalm 127:1). A beautiful sight it was to behold the blessing of the newest Rectory in the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha and the Dominican Province of St. Joseph the Worker, Nigeria and Ghana. Very Rev. Fr. Theo Odukwe, one of the regional vicars, representing the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Dr Valerian Okeke, blessed the new Rectory of St. Albert the Great Parish, Odume Obosi, on Easter Tuesday, April 07, 2015. Fr Odukwe, on behalf of the Archbishop, was grateful to the Prior Provincial, Very Rev. Fr Charles Ukwe, OP for this great feat and for the Dominican presence in the Archdiocese. He equally thanked the Parish Priest, Fr Alexius Agba, OP and other members of the Pastoral team, Fr Frederick Tettey, OP (vicar), Fr Samuel Onyiba, OP and Bro. Matthew Omoareghan, OP for their contributions to the dynamic growth of the parish. Indeed, it was a celebration of joy and a feast of love for the parishioners of St. Albert as they thanked God for the successful completion and blessing of the new Rectory.
